What is Christian Counselling?
Christian counselling is a form of therapy that integrates biblical wisdom with practical care for mental, emotional, and relational struggles. It looks at challenges through both a psychological and spiritual lens, helping people find healing, hope, and direction in light of God’s Word. At its heart, Christian counselling seeks to walk alongside individuals in a compassionate and supportive way, addressing real-life issues while pointing to the deeper peace and renewal found in Christ.

About me
Hello, my name is Lulu, and I’m a Christian Counsellor based in Sydney, Australia. I’m currently studying Biblical Counselling through the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation (CCEF). Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people as they navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, and the struggle to rebuild resilience and connection in difficult seasons.

As someone with a heart for those from immigrant backgrounds, I understand how lonely and overwhelming it can feel to adjust to a new culture and environment. I’ve also had the joy of leading Explore Alpha courses for the Chinese and Korean communities in Sydney, creating safe spaces for conversation, reflection, and spiritual growth.
I offer counselling sessions online, where I seek to combine biblical wisdom with a caring, client-focused approach to help people find comfort, hope, and renewed strength in Christ.

My Philosophy
My counselling approach is shaped by a deep trust in God’s wisdom and care for every person. I believe the Bible offers timeless truth and practical guidance that speaks into the challenges we face—whether it’s pain from the past, struggles in relationships, or feelings of anxiety and loss.

I see counselling as a journey we walk together. My role is to listen, encourage, and bring God’s Word into the conversation in ways that bring comfort, clarity, and hope. I value creating a safe and supportive space where clients can be honest about their struggles while exploring how faith connects to healing and growth.
Some of the areas I focus on include trauma, grief and loss, ministry and church-related challenges, depression and anxiety, and relationship or premarital concerns.
